If you are installing software on your PC, many times it requires to add new paths to the PATH environment variable. You should know that it is kind of cumbersome modifying the variables with the native Gui dialog provided by the Windows OS. I particularly, use to copy it from there, pasted on a word editor, modify it and the paste it back to its place.
With these two utilities, you can do it the friendly way:
Path Editor version 2.1.3.3, by RedfemPlace, works in my windows 7 64 bit perfectly.
PathEd (2005) by Luke Hudson, also does it for Windows XP...I could not successfully install Path Editor on the XP OS...It kept asking for Net Framework 2 when I already had install Net Framework 4 on that system.
